- A little late in posting from our trip last February

We were about a week into our trip when the first mention of the must see Elephant Seals popped up. With that we knew our last few days would be spent in the San Simeon area. We booked 4 nights at San Simeon State Park. The area had a few more rocks and was starting to get some character with more rocky outcroppings.

Seeing the elephant seals was certainly a highlight and they are very close to the boardwalk so all the sounds and activities are all right there for everyone to see and enjoy.

Yes there is other wild life but the seal do like to be the main attraction.

For the last day we needed to move from out campsite so found a great pullout and worked for 5 hours before departing for San Francisco area and a meetup with Cade for dinner.
